A traditional Thai street food - Thai variation of Hainan Chicken Rice, soft and tender chicken with the most fragrant flavourful rice. It's simple and delicious.
Method: for 2 servings
1 cup (170 grams) of rice, 1 sachet (25 grams) of chicken rice seasoning powder together with ginger slices in the sachet and 2 tbsp vegetable oil in a rice cooker, pour 1 and a half cups of chicken stock or water (300 ml)
stir well to mix. Cook until rice is dry and fluffy. Allow the rice to stand time before serving.
